Ideal for
Couples with a guest list big enough that most venues start asking them to cut it. At 220 seated it takes a full family wedding without anyone coming off the list, and it works just as well small: couples have held 40 guest weddings here with room left for dinner and dancing. Also suits anyone who would rather the venue ran the planning than hire that separately.
Planning considerations
Kiotari is on the south east coast, so ask for transfer times from the airport and from wherever your guests are staying before you book beds. Their site quotes a higher figure for standing or mixed formats; 220 is the seated number and the one to plan a dinner around. They advise on the registrar and the legal paperwork, but the ceremony itself is arranged separately, so settle early whether you want civil, religious or symbolic. If you are planning fireworks or sky lanterns, get permission confirmed in writing well ahead.
Christina's take
A lot of Rhodes venues top out around fifty or a hundred and thirty guests, which sounds like plenty right up until you actually count your family. Lythos seats two hundred and twenty, so the guest list stops being the thing you argue about. And here is the thing you notice after reading enough about this place: the wedding side and the walk in restaurant side get talked about very differently. Couples name their planner, who is also one of the owners, and go on about her at length. Diners are more mixed. You would be booking the first one.
